Somalia has over twenty five ( 55) radio stations and six (9) Television stations as well as several daily prints.
Mogadishu is host to over 50 foreign journalists covering Somalia and the Horn of Africa.
The Department of Information within the Ministry of Information and Communication is the one charged with the responsibility of accrediting journalists.
